After your intimate brightening treatment, the skin needs time to recover. Following your aftercare instructions is an important part of achieving and maintaining your results.

STRICT AVOIDANCE — FIRST 5–7 DAYS

Avoid the following for at least 5–7 days:

  - No scrubs or mechanical exfoliation
  - No exfoliating brushes or rough towels
  - No AHAs, BHAs, enzymes, or retinoids
  - No hot showers, saunas, steam, or excessive sweating
  - Avoid sun/UV exposure
  - Avoid friction, rubbing, or tight clothing
  - Avoid sexual activity for 3–5 days

REQUIRED HOMECARE:

Keep your routine gentle and simple.

  - Gently cleanse the area twice daily
  - Use Cashmere Cleanser for gentle, barrier-supporting cleansing
  - Apply a moisturizer that supports the skin barrier
  - Apply Nectar Intimate Brightening Serum twice daily after showering, as directed by your esthetician

Nectar should be used consistently for approximately 30 days following your treatment unless your esthetician provides different instructions.

ADDITIONAL AFTERCARE: 

  - Keep the area clean and dry
  - Avoid activities that create excessive heat for approximately 5 days
  - Do not use abrasive tools such as loofahs, washcloths, Clarisonic devices, or exfoliating crystals
  - Do not pick, rub, or disturb the skin while it is peeling
  - Peeling/flaking may last approximately 7–14 days
  - Allow the skin to naturally shed—do not pull or pick at it

MAINTAINING YOUR RESULTS: 

Intimate brightening treatments can typically be repeated every 4–6 weeks, depending on your individual treatment plan.
